Traveling With Friends

If you are searching for ‘Traveling With Friends’ on the internet, chances are that you are incredibly excited about a trip that you have planned with your friends. The first thing that I would say is to stay safe and out of trouble. Now getting back to the point, you need to know about the do’s and don’ts of traveling with your friends.

The first thing that you should keep in mind is that there are different people with different likes and dislikes; you have to be aware of that fact and considerate too. Being friends at college is one thing and being in a car with a group of friends is another.

Invite people that you are sure about

The first thing that you should keep in mind is that don’t invite anyone that you are not comfortable with. If you are going on a road trip, by air or even by foot always keep your comfort first. Taking someone just because they are a friend of your friend might seem generous, but it might ruin your trip later on.

Since you are friends, you have to compromise on certain matters, and that is a good thing to do. Just make sure that no one pushes other people to the side for their comfort, trust me there is not much that one person can take.

A good music collection

The second most important tip that I have to offer is that you need an exquisite music collection. While people often think that “we will talk and gossip and have conversations on the way” it usually doesn’t turn out like that. After an hour or two, you will want to just look out the window and enjoy and if you don’t have music, it can turn out to be weird.

Make sure that your music collection comprises of different kinds of music. It should cater to everyone’s taste and not just yours.

Money plan

Another recommendation that I have with regard to traveling with friends is that you should devise a money plan before going. The first thing that you should do is decide a budget that you are willing to spend and that you want to stick too. The second thing you should keep in mind is that you should discuss how certain money payments should be made, for example, how you are going to split your bill at a restaurant?! This will help you with regard to any embarrassing situation later on. You should also decide what things you will pay for collectively, individually or in pairs.

Take out time for yourself

You should not be guilty about wanting some alone time, and you should respect the fact that others might want their privacy as well. You can go try activities that the group was not ready to do together. Go sightseeing, go surfing, take your hoverboard and explore the city. You must be thinking if the hoverboard can explode so no it cannot, that is a very rare scenario, just enjoy whatever you do and don’t overthink. This will give you some time to unwind and spend some quality me- time.

Pick room partners before going

One thing you should keep in mind is to make sure you take certain decisions before going on the trip so that you have no conflict of interest. You can decide who is going to be sleeping with whom and what the sitting arrangement would be, especially if you are going on a bus or a caravan.

I am sure you love all your friends; however, that does not mean that you would like to share a room with all of them. There is always one person that you like more so try to get rooms in pairs and let everyone know beforehand.

Pack smartly and don’t borrow

Another thing that you should do is to make sure that you have your essentials. Create a checklist ahead of time and consult with your friends. Make sure everyone has everything, while it is okay if you forgot something or you already told your roommate you would be using a certain thing.  Borrowing unnecessarily, as per habit can cause others to get irritated. This could literally lead to your trip blowing up in flames.

Be sure divide responsibilities

Make sure you distribute the chores amongst you and your friends so that no one is burdened. Another problem that arises is that the one who ends up doing all the cleaning up often talks to another person and this cycle keeps going and something that you didn’t even do consciously cause a lot of mental discomforts.

All these recommendations mentioned above are from my personal experiences, and I am sure if you follow them, your trip is definitely going to be better than mine. Last but not least, know that this is a chance that you will not get again and again and that you should enjoy it to the fullest. Keep your phones aside and make some memories that you will adore forever.IA
